Emergency Lighting Systems

Emergency Lighting systems are covered by European standards, and BS 5266: Part 1: 2005 which includes in its scope residential hotels, clubs, hospitals, nursing homes, schools and colleges, licensed premises, offices, museums, shops, multi-storey dwellings etc.

Morris Fire and Safety Ltd are able to specify, install and maintain automatic emergency lighting systems that:

• meet the relevant British and European standards;

• are installed in accordance with IEE regulations;

• are fully commissioned, with written certificates of compliance provided on installation and after each maintenance visit.

Without such backup systems, failure of the normal lighting may lead to sudden darkness and a possible danger to the occupants, either through physical danger or panic.
